Samsung Galaxy A9 with a quad camera module will launch in India this month

Nowadays, South Korean tech giant Samsung is a bit busy in upgrading its mid-range Galaxy A series with some of the premium features and latest technology in the market. A few months back Samsung launched Galaxy A7 with triple rear cameras, and now the firm is back to launch a successor to the model Galaxy A7. Samsung is coming up with all new Samsung Galaxy A9 with four cameras and is expected to be launched in November 2018.

The all new Samsung Galaxy A9 will hit the market with a Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen, up to 8GB of RAM and adaptive fast charging support. Users will have the freedom to choose from Caviar Black, Bubblegum Pink, and Lemonade Blue color options.

Talking about the specifications of the successor to the model Galaxy A7, Samsung Galaxy A9 will have a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity (1080×2220 pixels) display, and the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Octa-Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor paired with Adreno 512 GPU. Users can put their hands on either of the models having 6GB / 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage which is further expandable up to 512GB via micro SD. Samsung Galaxy A9 will have a Dual SIM ( nano + nano + microSD) connectivity and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

The major attraction of the Galaxy A9 will still be the rear camera setup. At the rear, the phone will have a four camera setup which will include a 24-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 10-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture,  a 5-megapixel depth camera with f/2.2 aperture and 8-megapixel 120-degree Ultra Wide camera with an f/2.4 aperture as well. On the other hand, the smartphone will have a 24-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture at the front.

Considering it to be the first-ever smartphone by Samsung with a four-camera setup, Galaxy A9 will also have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE, VHT80, Bluetooth v5, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and a 3800mAh battery. The battery of the Galaxy A9 will have adaptive fast charging support.

As of now, there has been no official word from the company regarding the price of the Samsung Galaxy A9 in India. But in European countries, the smartphone will be available at a price tag of 599 Euros (roughly Rs. 51,300). And reports say that the Galaxy A9 will hit the Indian market at a price tag of Rs. 39,000.
