New Year offer! Google slashes prices of Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL

Google slashed down the price of Pixel 2XL following the launch of Pixel 3 in October. This was the second instance when a Google phone saw a price drop. Now the Google Store is discounting both its last generation Pixel 2 and 2Xl by $50 until New Year’s Eve.

The Sale which began on 23rd December is offering an attractive discount on the smaller Pixel 2 and the bigger Pixel 2XL. Earlier in October, Google offered a discount of $150 and slashed the prices from $849 to $699 for the 64GB variant of 2XL.

Last year’s flagship model is now available in black and cleary white variants, and one can purchase its basic model by spending just $599. On the other hand, the price of the 128GB variant for both the colors has been slashed down to $699 from $749. Including all other models, Kinda Blue too is out of stock and Google Store is offering a waiting option for the model.

Besides this, the 64GB variant of Pixel 2XL is available in black & white vibrant colors and can be purchased for $599 while the 128GB Black unit prices have been slashed to $699 from$949. The sale on all of the said models will end on 31 December, say reports.

Both Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2XL comes with 5-inch and 6-inch touchscreen and are powered with a Snapdragon 835 processor. The smartphones have 4GB of RAM and are one of the primary devices to receive Android 9 Pie, which will get updates until 2020. The smartphones are said to receive two more major OS releases in the future.

Moreover, the Google Store is also offering 10% cashback on purchasing Pixel 3/3 XL and spending over $1000 on Google Store. The store is also offering a discount of $250 on the purchase of 128GB Pixelbook until year’s end.
