Huawei subsidiary has recently launched its new flagship model in smartphones by the name Honor Magic 2. The new smartphone has six cameras (three front-facing, three on the back), Kirin 980 chipset and impressively fast 40W charging. The surprising part of the new launch is that the smartphone has no notches at the front, thanks to the sliding mechanism.
Talking about the screen and other configurations of Honor Magic 2, the phone has a 6.4” OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution in 19:9 ratio. The 6.4” OLED screen has a curved 2.5D glass on top which makes the screen looks classy. The inside of the phone consists of the latest chipset by HiSilicon, coupled with either 6 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM. Honor Magic 2 is available in 2 different variants as 128 GB or 256 GB, and the memory is not further expandable as there is no microSD slot available in the smartphone.
The camera set up is the major attraction of the smartphone as it is equipped with six cameras (three front-facing, three on the back). There is a main 16 MP snapper, 24 MP Black & White monochrome sensor, and a 16 MP ultra-wide-angle camera. On the front end, there is a 16 MP selfie shooter which is accompanied by two 2 MP depth sensors.
Honor Magic 2 has an IR face scanner for 3D Face Unlock. The face unlock feature is carried out through a depth-sensing bionic lens. If you don’t want to go on with the long process to open up the phone you can use the under-display fingerprint scanner for all the security you might need.
The smartphone is available in gradient Blue, Red, or Black and it comes in three variants from which users can choose their perfect bet as per their needs. The three variants are 6/128 GB for CNY3,799, 8/128 GB for CNY4,299, and 8/256 GB for CNY4,799.
Preorder for Honor 2 has already started, and the actual shipping will commence from November 6 onwards.
